A difficult first 2 kms of the walk today.
My symptoms were in overdrive. It was hard to walk, and I felt like I was in slow motion.
Then I hit the countryside, and like a flick of a.switch, I was back into normalmality.
The rest of the walk was mainly in the woodlands with sun on my back for the day.En savoir plus

Padron

Padron is a small town with a rich history.
I had a walk around town after I arrived at my private room for the night.
When in Padron it is obligatory to eat the pimientos de Padròn.
As you can see from the photo, I was given not the best quality, but they tasted good.En savoir plus

PADRON TO PICARNAÑA

A nice short walk of 10km today to leave 16km tomorrow until Santiago de Compostela.
The first 7-8 km of the walk today were mainly beside the road or through some villages.
The last 2 km were back on nice trails through some vineyards before reaching my accommodation for the night.
I had two negative experiences today:
1) At the first stop of the day, the bar was charging everyone 1 euro to use the toilets even if you were a customer.
2) The second was I ordered a pizza at lunch (15 Euro), and it was quite obvious that it was a frozen pizza. The taste was terrible.
However, my faith was returned in the evening as I ate at a nice Taberna and got a nice meal at a good price.En savoir plus

A fantastic and emotional last day into Santiago de Compostela.
The enormity of my walk hit me, and I have a come on a big adventure from the beginning of the year.
In January 2025, I couldn't walk 200m without falling over even with the aid of crutches, and now, I finished 280km in 19 days.En savoir plus

Santiago is really a beautiful place to visit.
The cathedral is really amazing , unfortunately, it was not allowed to take pictures of the inside of the museum or of the main gate to the cathedral.

It started to rain and was quite windy.
