My family and I camped on Julia Creek for two nights, so we can try and catch red claw.

Just before we put our pots out we met some locals that gave us a couple of tips to catch red claw.

After we put the pots in Lachie and I decided to make a potty mullet trap so we can catch some live bait. We put it in and while we were waiting we made some hand lines.
We used our live bait to catch Catfish, we caught about seven.

After catching our catfish we decided it was time to go check the pots. It was a muddy walk to our pots, but on the way Dad scooped two on the way so we were pretty happy.
All up we got seven red claw and we were stoked. The next day we got nine red claw.

The next day', we pulled up at a gravel pit for the night so we decided to cook up the red claw for dinner. Dad cooked them in boiling water, but Lachie and I didn’t like them.
