Bye bye

Day 6:

What a way to start our last day on the Whitsundays, winding in a decent size shark. Mum was also pretty happy, leaving the fishing spot with the biggest fish, providing lunch.

We decided to head to Hill Inlet after checking out Whitehaven, because it just wasn’t the same. After cooking up some breakfast we decided to keep trolling because we still hadn’t caught a Mackey. After trolling for about half an hour we finally hooked on. When I got it up to the boat Lachie saw that it was a mackeral right before it got off. Off course, we had to keep trolling, but we never got another hit.

After doing a little bit of exploring, we decided to head back in case the wind blew up early tomorrow. It was an alright ride home and Mum felt super safe because Lachie and I drove the whole way. We ended up sleeping in the boat ramp car park so we could wake up early and go for a swim in the man-made beach. Czytaj więcej
