Last day on the boat

Unfortunately stormy weather, high seas and strong winds meant we were not able to dock at our last 2 ports. Really disappointing but can’t grumble as we knew the weather could be unpredictable. Back into Reykjavik around lunchtime today and we took the opportunity to go to the Lava experience, which actually features real lava at 1100 degrees centigrade, made from basalt melted down in their own furnace. A really visual and entertaining show. After that, Louise went to chill and Bruce went to the Harpa Concert Hall to see a piano recital from celebrated Nordic jazz pianist Benjamín Gísli Einarsson.
