As we come closer towards the end of our time in Chile we find ourselves deep in the Atacama Desert, 🏜 the driest non-polar desert in the world. At an elevation of over 2000 metres above sea level, the high altitude and minimal cloud cover make it the best place to view the stars on Earth. ✨️Furthermore, we hired mountain bikes🚵‍♂️ to explore the desert which seemed like a good idea until one of the tyres popped while over an hours walk from town at the hottest part of the day!😳 To think that this dry region is in the same country as glaciers really blows your mind!🤯Read more

Spending some time in Calama, a unique city in the heart of Chile’s Atacama Desert,🏜 primarily used for its mining industry.⛏️ It’s a quieter place without the bustling attractions of other cities we’ve visited, but I still had the chance to catch a thrilling football game⚽️ and experience the local vibe! Exploring Tarija, a city a bit bigger than my last stop in Tupiza, has been such a treat!🇧🇴 I went on an amazing wine tour joined by a few fellow travellers and discovered just how underrated Bolivia is as a wine country.🍷 The vineyards here are breathtaking, 🍇and the wines are surprisingly diverse and delicious.😁 Cheers to hidden gems and new adventures!🥂Read more

Passing through Asunción🇵🇾 on our way to some pretty iconic waterfalls ⛲️ only a few nights were spent here, but what an adventure! Between the sweltering heat and a surprise minor tropical storm,⛈️ this city gave us a taste of Paraguay's urban city life. 🏙Although not a great deal to do here in such a short time it was still another amazing place to visit!🤩Read more

Wow!🤩 We have made it to the infamous Iguazu falls, not originally on our itinerary but are we so glad we made the right decision to visit anyway.⛲️ Words fail to describe the sheer size and beauty of this natural wonder we only wish that you get the chance to see it for yourselves.😁 And if that isn't enough we saw the triple border point between Paraguay,🇵🇾 Brazil🇧🇷 and Argentina🇦🇷 and had a quick walk through the jungle next to the Falls. Returning back to bolivia took us to Santa Cruz de la Sierra, a major city in Bolivia for transporting to and from the outside world.🇧🇴 Unfortunately, as it appears to serve mainly as a travel hub✈️ there isn't a great deal to do here so we only spent the one night before getting on with our journey to the rest of bolivia!😁Read more
