Sunrise Boat trip & dancing!

Up early for a sunrise boat trip with the locals. Got a bit closer to the coastline further north & around the island we have been staring at for days. A pod of lazy dolphins came to say, "Hi". Magical!
Much later, after dinner, Ravi our host, organised some charming young local girls to do a traditional Goan dance for us. These dances are traditionally performed in temples for special celebrations. Sadly, these performances are dying out. The balancing of the brass ornaments was extraordinary. Very special indeed.Read more
