Whale, Dunes and a companion ⛵

After most of the day motor+sail we could start to sail with Code 0 in the late afternoon.

The day was interesting. Went through a field of anchoring cargo ships in front of a big port. Me and Francois saw a whale 🐳 just 100m from our boat. Unfortunately he showed himself just once.

Marcs catch 🐟 was so impressive that we threw him back in the sea 🌊

We got contacted by a fellow sailing catamaran who's also sailing to Punta del Este.

And at sunset a funny water plan made a loop around our heads to say hello.

The coastline is very beautiful with it's green lushness and broken apart by big sand dunes. Fantastic 😍. Would be worth exploring but we are on a mission. I definitely want to come back to this great country.
