Totally awesome! The water was a brilliant blue, like a really blue Tshirt. I was more impressed by Crater Lake than the Grand Canyon. We did 2 short hikes. We saw a couple of bald eagles on the way here,もっと詳しく

For years my favorite bike trail was the real trail in Raleigh, North Carolina, but today this has become my favorite bike trail. The trail is an 11 mi paved trail around diamond Lake and is extremely scenic with many different landscapes the whole way around the lake.
The campground is named because you have a great view of Mt Thielsen, a composite volcano. I had no idea that Oregon has an extensive amount of volcanoes. Mt Thielsen is called the lightening rod of the Cascades. It's a National Park. So for us with the Senior Pass it's only$7.50 a night. I highly recommend getting a pass because you get into all the national parks for free and half off national parks camping.もっと詳しく

**HIGHLIGHT**
The hot springs are the highlight of the trip! In Umpqua National Forest, a short hike leads up to 5 different pools of different temperatures. We spent over 2 hours soaking and meeting interesting people. It was very scenic on the edge of the mountain with stream rushing below. The mineral buildup on the edge of the pools was interesting.

Cool lighthouse and story, but the public can't go up to the top, so I recommend going to a different lighthouse.

This campground is full of kites!!!! I wish I brought my kite! The octopus kite is about 20-30 feet long.
The Pacific beaches are so much colder than the Atlantic beaches!
