On our way back we stopped at Port Arthur Lavendar Farm and had their Cheesecake. It looked magnificent but was a tad disappointing. I'm not a fan of lavender in food so it all tasted a bit like I was eating soap. It was in lovely grounds though and we enjoyed browsing through their gift shop! Of course for our last night we had to finish up at our favourite restaurant where we were given the best table and Kirk even got a free glass of wine. This time we had the prawn brushcetta, the sausage special (which Kirk had remembered from the first time we found the restaurant) and the vegetarian pasta finished off with the sticky fig pudding with butterscotch sauce (not pictured) - all absolutely delicious as per usual.En savoir plus
