Ronny Creek to Marion's Lookout

Our first full hiking day dawned with glorious clear skies, which was a huge relief given the cold, wet and snowy conditions Cradle Mountin had been experiencing. The itinerary for today was to start off at Ronny Creek and heading up towards Marion's Lookout via Lake Lilla and Wombat pool. While it was a little bit chilly initially, we were soon able to remove most of our layers once we reached Lake Lilla and Wombat pool. After a quick tea/coffee/snack stop, we were able to start our steep ascent towards the lookout wherever drank in the glorious view.Leggi altro
