We docked at 6:00 am this morning. Again, our weather is fantastic. Sunny, not a cloud on the sky, slight breeze and 80.
We walked off the ship about 9:15 and walked into town. We do not have an excursion. We went to Mt Maunganui beach and put on our toes in. We should have worn our suits.
Walked the Main Street where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The murals were very cool. A super clean city with very nice homes that go for around 3.5 to 5 million NZD.
Mount Maunganui , which you can hike or walk around the base. Since Myron did not want to attempt, Diana thought about going by herself but didn’t want to be alone on the trail.
We had lunch and then returned to the ship about 2:00. Myron did laundry and Diana worked on photo books.
