• 02.10.2024 Tasman Sea Sea Day 3/4

    February 10, 2024, Tasman Sea ⋅ 🌬 63 °F

We are rocking and rolling today in the Tasman sea. It is very windy at 36 mph and sea swells of 12-14 feet. Better than the 21 feet we would have had if we had maintained our original course.
We attended the 9:30 lecture, “History of Australia 1851 to Present.” By Resident Historian Dr Robert Cribb. Myron also listened to the 11:00 lecture “G’Day! Interesting Facts About Australia by guest lecturer Nitza Lowenstein while Diana went to the cabin to update photo books.
Diana had a felting class at 1:00 where she is making a Viking gnome. She will finish it tomorrow. Myron had Choir practice at 2.
We met Paul, Joyce and Warren for dinner tonight in the Restaurant. Both Warren and Allison have had Covid. Warren is fully recovered but Allison is quarantined until Valentine’s Day.
Myron attended an encore performance of guest pianist Brad McCaw.
Diana retired to our cabin and watched the sunset over the Tasman sea.
    So peaceful.
