03.01.2024 Bali, Indonesia Day 1 of 3

We are in Bali for the next three days and going on an adventure with Brian, Jonathan, Beth and Terry.

Bali is a province of Indonesia and the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands. East of Java and west of Lombok, the province includes the island of Bali and a few smaller offshore island. The provincial capital, Denpasar is the most populous city in the Lesser Sunda Islands and the second-largest in Eastern Indonesia. The upland town of Ubud in Greater Denpasar is considered Bali's cultural centre. The province is Indonesia's main tourist.
Over 90% Bali is Hindu and only 3% Christian.
We went off the ship and are staying at a 5 Star resort called Cicada in Ubud.
It sits in the rainforest surrounded by rice fields. Beautiful.
Myron got into the infinity pool and hot tub. We had an early dinner and then off to a Balinese show. The musicians and dancers were incredible.Meer informatie
