03.31.2024 Dehli to Mauritius

Happy Easter! Christ has risen. Alleluia! Today we flew to Mauritius. I know it will shock the family but we are flying economy. Air Mauritius is much more spacious than United or Delta, more like premium economy. That is a good thing as we have a. 7.5 hour flight.
It was an excellent day to leave India as the air quality deteriorated tremendously overnight. You need to enlarge the airport picture in order to see a plane that is right across the tarmac from us.
Terry and Beth have left the cruise and are off on another adventure. We will miss them and so loved spending time with them.
Of course we met up with Brian and Jonathan at the airport. They flew business class so they took one of our rollerboards for us.
We arrived and checked into our hotel, unpacked and called it a day. We are staying at the LeSuffren Hotel and Marina. A very expensive city but a beautiful location and after India we feel we are back in civilization.Read more
