Tolmie

Took our time getting to Tolmie yesterday.
We met the group of Rod, John McK, Graeme and Monica.
We made use of the camp kitchen because as expected it got cool over night. 5C when we got up.

Today’s trip followed Cambatong Road to Evans Creek Track. We stopped at Evan’s Creek hut then went on to Tomahawk Hut.
Next journey was along Buckland Spur Track with the steep descent and tricky creek crossing to get to Lake William Hovell. We stopped for lunch. The weather was perfect and there were lots of families doing water activities.
The return home was along Upper King River Road to Christopher’s Road. That was a steep one which took us to the Mansfield Whitfield Road.
Back to camp and dinner at the pub tonight.
