Lake Jackson Texas

Cruised southeast to visit the Sea Center Texas marine aquarium and fish hatchery. The red drum fish and flounder hatchery was most interesting. So different than what we do in the northwest with salmon, steelhead and trout.

We also toured the Lake Jackson Historical Museum which had exhibits ranging from prehistory of the region through modern times.

Finally had us some Texas barbecue at Hoghenheiferz BBQ. Food was delicious, especially the Philly brisket cheese steak and the owners were beyond welcoming.Read more
