We dropped Kuma off at the animal hospital in Spearfish early this morning, had breakfast then hiked the Little Elk Creek trail, halfway between Sturgis and Rapid City. A wonderful trail bursting with fall colors, rock formations, juvenile trout in the creek and a good five and a half mile workout. We stopped in Sturgis on the way to pick up Kuma. Really quiet now... can only imagine what it's like during the August rally.
Kuma now has sparkling clean canines but is also missing his top three teeth some bone and a tumor that was causing the bleeding. Tissue sample sent for biopsy and we'll be following up with his vet in Gresham. 😞 Poor puppy...and he just celebrated his 11th birthday on the 12th.Read more
