September 22-24

Friday we cruised west through rain and snow over the Continental Divide to Jim and Mary's RV Park just outside of Missoula, Montana.
Saturday we went to two farmers markets in downtown Missoula. The morning was brisk, high 30s, but braving the cold was well worth it as both markets had an abundance of produce. We had rhubarb raspberry jalapeno pie at the Purple Pie Place when we were in Custer, SD and have been yearning for it since.... EUREKA! rhubarb and raspberries at the market, so pie was baked and consumed.
Sunday we toured Fort Missoula Museum and historic buildings. This visit was of special interest to me as my great uncle, Kyutaro Nakamura, was detained there during World War 2. http://www.fortmissoulamuseum.org/aliendetentio…Read more
