    March 24-28

    March 23, 2018 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 75 °F

Saturday we were greeted by camp hosts and former neighbors, Chad and Leslie, at Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, Arizona. Beautiful views of the Superstition Mountains from our campsite.https://azstateparks.com/lost-dutchman
Monday Randy and I hiked the Siphon Draw trail. Panoramic views on the way to the top. Later in the day we strolled the Heritage District in Gilbert with Chad and Leslie. Enjoyed lunch at Grubstak and excellent margeritas at the Barrio Queen.
Gary and Carrie flew in from Gig Harbor, Washington on Tuesday. We spent the day catching up and though we haven't connected in over a year, like with all good friends, it felt like yesterday.
Wednesday morning we hiked the Treasure Loop Trail then headed back to Gilbert's Heritage District for an afternoon of good food, cocktails, ping pong and cornhole.
