It was very smokey our first three days in Randle. Tuesday we attempted a long bike ride but only made seven miles before our eyes were burning and throats were scratchy. Didn't hike or tour further into the park due to smoke and poor visibility. Thursday was a bit better so we took Kuma swimming at Scanawa Lake before going to Bear Ridge Smokehouse and Meat Market in Morton for a T-bone and smoked beef sticks. We've been harvesting blackberries, plums and apples here at the park.
Today we headed back to Mt Rainier National Park and hiked the Silver Falls Loop/Grove of the Patriarchs trails...beautiful! I talked Randy into stopping at the White Pass Country Museum in Packwood on the way home. http://whitepasscountrymuseum.org/もっと詳しく
