December 2-9

We've had a couple days of much needed rain which brought snow to the San Jacinto and San Bernardino Mountains = beautiful views. Last Sunday we went to the Indio Tamale Festival with Chad and Leslie. I only wish we had the gastric capacity to sample more than 4 tamales out of the hundreds that were there. https://www.tamalefestival.net/
Thursday we met cousin Steve at the Palm Desert Community Center for pickleball then had lunch with him and Carlene at Islands Restaurant. It was great seeing them and we're glad he's finally discovered the sport we love.
Friday Chad and Leslie hosted an open house at their beautiful new (to them) motorcoach.
Today had breakfast at Keedy's https://keedysfountaingrill.com/ and hit the College of the Desert Street Fair for some holiday shopping, listened to some talented musicians at Cat Spa's Sunday Jam and had friends over for an impromptu get together.
Another fun and busy week and I didn't even mention wine tasting and trivia night, well...I guess I just did.Weiterlesen
