July 15-21

We've had a good week. Kelsie and I helped Auntie Aki & Uncle Kay ready their house and yard for houseguests from Texas. Sharon and Larry taught us a new board game, Pegs & Jokers, so much fun! Ate at the food cart pods in Sandy. Bought a net and lined out our own private pickleball court. The backcourts are only half size but we're getting some good practice in and the location is oh so convenient. I've also been working with the Sandy Senior Center in getting some courts lined out at a city park.
Yesterday Randy and I went to the Guide Dogs for the Blind Fun Day. We were treated to hamburgers, toured the campus and watched the new puppy raisers get their pups. Our neighbor, Patsy, volunteers there and also fosters dogs. https://www.guidedogs.com/funday
Today we celebrated my Auntie Toku's birthday with a family dinner. Her grandson, Matthew, and Chay will be getting married on Friday. The rest of the Texas clan will be arriving as the week progresses.Read more
