We hit the road for our migration to warmer weather at 6:45am Friday, taking advantage of the 24 hour window of opportunity to cross over the Siskiyous and Shasta before the next snowfall. Our first night was spent at Rolling Hills Casino RV Park then south through olive and citrus orchards to The Orange Grove RV Park in Bakersfield, California.

We battled high winds coming over Tahachapi Pass and a bit of traffic over Cajon Pass and through San Bernardino but all in all a good final leg into Desert Hot Springs. We ended our day with a delicious dinner at Felipe's with Jim & Angie and Joy, Jim & Jessie.
