Today we spent the day in Sarasota. We shopped the farmers market and shops at Siesta Key, took a long beach walk and lunched on a delicious omelette at the Village Cafe. Next we visited the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. A fantastic garden that is having a Salvador Dali exhibition and have incorporated Dali's themes into the garden. A bit surreal with lots of eyeballs and eggs. https://selby.org/
We're really glad we became members of the Oregon Gardens as we've benefited from their reciprocal admissions program during our travels, four gardens so far and more to come!
Tomorrow we head to Miccosukee Casino in Miami for one night of dry camping before we continue south for five nights at Sunshine Key RV Resort in Big Pine Key.Weiterlesen
