March 9-11

Monday we traveled southeast through orange groves and fields of sugarcane to the edge of the everglades where we spent the night at Miccosukee Casino in Miami.
Tuesday we continued our journey south until we reached the Overseas Hwy, aka hwy 1, where we had a beautiful drive, by and over turquoise blue water until we arrived at Sunshine Key RV Resort and Marina, our home for the next five nights. https://www.rvonthego.com/florida/sunshine-key-…
This morning we played pickleball then drove to Marathon Key for a delicious lunch at the Cracked Conch Cafe. We spent the afternoon exploring Bahia Honda State Park.
