March 13-14

Yesterday we launched our kayak from the resort's boat launch and had a nice paddle around Ohio Key. We paddled the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic, spotted two rays and three small sharks...a good morning. We were on the water again in the afternoon. Our friend Alan, who has a vacation home and boat on Big Pine Key, took us out for a cruise and fed us a delicious dinner of fish he'd caught. Many thanks to Alan & Lisa for their hospitality.
Today we played pickleball and got to know some interesting folks between games.
We've enjoyed our stay in the Keys. The corona virus hasn't hit here so it's been more relaxed then on the mainland. Tomorrow we head to Larry & Penny Thompson Park in Miami for a four night stay.Leggi altro
