We have to split: Martin want to do at least 50 km per day; I with my bloody blisters need a break (well even without the blisters a can't do 50 any more).
In the morning I went to visit the famous Altamira caves (2.5km). Than I asked about the bus to San Vincente. According 3 years old timetable there was a bus at 11:10 and 13:35. It was 10:50 and 2.5 km to the town, so I didn't think I can catch the first bus.
It was 11:07 wenn I came in the town, but where is the bus stop? I asked in the information: blablabla this direction. OK I walked 200 m , asked again: blablabla the opposite direction. After 150m I mentioned some people standing on the street. I asked them what for are they waiting. "For the bus to Comillas". Great! This was the bus stop! No sign, no timetable, nothing! After we left Comillas I thought about Martin - that he could be around here now. So I looked out of the windows and just a minute later I saw him walking along the street. He had another 2 hours of walking to San Vicente - enough time for me to look around the beautiful town. Martin came 10 minutes earlier. We had lunch and than we walked together 25km until we found a free room in a pension in El Peral/Colombres in Princedom Asturias.Read more

8:30. We splited again. I went to the railway station Colombres, but the next train was at about 11am ( it goes 2 times a day), so I decided to walk little bit and take the train later. It was a good decision: very nice trail on the cost with beautiful scenery. It was much more easier to find the railway station in Pendueles, than the bus stop yesterday. Nevertheless I asked for the way: "para estatione?". "Si, si, blablabla once." That I knew already, but was thankful for the confirmation, who knows how old was the timetable in Colombres. I was waiting for Martin in a bar having brunch and some (5?) beer (stupid small 20cl). Than we had lunch and walked together for 25km on a wonderful coast trail without cars, without streets, without the f...ing asphalt. This was the most beautiful part of our way so far.
