Singapore Isolation

After a transit flight to Heathrow I have a 5 hour layover before boarding my plane to Singapore. I spend the time at the airport buying last minute bits not too much though as my bags heavy enough as it is.
When I get to the boarding gate I'm called with a couple of other passengers up to speak with the desk. When I tried to upload all my Singapore documents to the British Airways check in it wasn't allowing me too , but I've just done all this faffing in Manchester so a bit fed up now. The girl on the desk isn't very nice and asks what my purpose of travel is I tell her I'm travelling for a year and she say you're purpose not the length?
I eventually board the plane to find we've got an issue with air traffic control over Europe so we sit on the Tarmac for an hour before taking off. I don't sleep well on planes and spend the time reading and watching films . I go to write my blog and find my book missing and on arriving at the hotel realise I must have left it at Heathrow . As disappointed as I am it's one less thing to carry.
Singapore is hectic and after leaving the plane they escort you through immigration then for your pcr test. After getting this sorted I head to get a taxi. Still no cigarette, feel like I could smoke my own fingers. The plan is I'll jump a taxi to my hotel and have a ciggie before I check in . This doesn't happen, as soon as I arrive the guy says I can't smoke until my results have come back and that could be tomorrow night🤣 I'm then escorted to my room via the tradesman lift and told to not leave under any circumstances
Anyway that's where I sit as I write this going to try and get some shut eye 👁Читать далее
