Lightning Ridge

We are here! It was a very bumpy drive in (see attached photo) so we were glad to pull into Opal Caravan Park. The bays here are huge!! There are thermal baths 200m away so we may test them out after dinner.
There is a local artist who has pretty much painted every building in town. Love his work!
There is also a lolly shop in town. Pete has flagged it for a visit. Lots of opal shops. The girls have tagged them for a visit.Read more
