• A Sunrise Wilderness Walk

    Double K, our lead poler, took us on another wilderness walk at daybreak this morning. The animals were up and moving about before the heat set in and we were able to get close to them. We had another magical ride in a Mokoros back to the trailhead. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Delta and are relieved to have survived the evening in the tent unscathed. Despite the curious noises of the night, we slept reasonably well. We had to make a slight detour on our way back in the Mokoros due to the number of hippos in our pathway. We just kept repeating our mantra- It’s all part of the experience!Read more
