Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park & Museum

This morning we visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum which was built in 1995. It is a stunning place dedicated to documenting the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in World War II. It promotes peace and understanding, and is a true testament to the horrors of nuclear war and war itself. The experience was moving beyond words. We were happy to get the opportunity to ring the peace bell while visiting the park.Leggi altro
