Gili Islands

We took a speedboat from the port this morning over to the Gili Islands, docking on Gili T, where our fabulous Vila accommodation for the next two nights is. We dropped our luggage and then boarded a wooden boat for our snorkelling excursion to see the turtles and the under water sculptures. The Bask Nest sculptures on Gili Meno are a unique underwater attraction created by renowned sculptor and environmentalist Jason deCaires Taylor. They feature 48 life-sized figures arranged in a circle, designed to symbolize life, connection, and renewal. We had lunch on the third of the Gili islands, Gili Air. We had free time in the afternoon to explore and then enjoyed another dinner on the beach, under the full moon.Baca lagi
