Gili Vibes

We had a free day in Gili today which we so looked forward to. The big thing to do on this island is to rent bikes and ride around the island, soaking in the sun and the sea and the shops and just enjoying the vibe of the place. Everyone is friendly and there is something for everyone’s tastes. We slept in, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast, went to the spa and then met up with Margaret and John to cycle around the island in one direction, which stretched out the morning and then hit the pool, grabbed some lunch and visited a few beach shops. We then struck out in our own to cycle around the island the island in the other direction before returning to the pool. Met up with the group at the beach bar for sunset drinks and then moved on to dinner.Read more
