25km on the Camino de Santiago Trail

We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise in Logrono, had some breakfast and then set out on the Camino Santiago trail, covering 25 kms in 7 hours which included a stop for lunch and a celebratory ice cream at the end. I was super pumped to walk a portion of the trail and Gilles and I were accompanied by Chris and Bob as we walked through vineyards, around the lake, and to and from the town of Navarrete where we lunched. It was very picturesque and had a great vibe. We met lots of others along the way who were journeying towards their final destination. Everyone has their story regarding why they are there and we played the guessing game as to what was their motivation. A truly enjoyable experience!
