Our last stop before reaching San Sebastian was Pamplona where we got a bite of lunch and had a walkabout. Pamplona is best known for the Running of the Bulls (Feast of San Fermin) in July. We saw the street where the bulls are led by daredevil runners and the bronze monument of the event. It is also a major stop along the Camino de Santiago and I visited a shop where Camino goers could shop for supplies and pick up souvenirs and also saw many Alberques. The city hall building here was quite impressive and the streets were clean and well organized. Zuzanna did some of her university studies here and was excited to give us a glimpse of the city through her eyes. We had our lunch in the main square and sussed out the statue of Ernest Hemingway in the Iruna Cafe where he often did some writing when visiting Spain.もっと詳しく
