Playa de la Areña, Atlantic Ocean

This is how it looks at night (8:&9:) at this lovely coastal town north of Spain. I took a long stroll down the beach. Today was an extra hot day, 94°and humid. This is the time when everyone comes out for refreshments by swimming and socializing at the bars on the warf. This is the prettiest town I've seen yet. The Atlantic Ocean is much warmer than our chilly Pacific. I like how there is a grate and benches with water spouts to wash sand from feet before putting shoes back on. It's a very active surfer town, too. I contemplate spending a couple of days here.Meer informatie
