    Port Hedland was quite different to the amazing natural wonders we've been seeing over past few weeks but it was awesome in its own way.

    It is very industrial being the biggest bulk export port in the world! That means there were a lot of big trains (3 km's), boats (360m), and machines in general. Kevin was in his element!

    They mainly export iron ore but also other rare minerals as well as salt, which they generate at a massive salt mine in the town.

    As well as that though, they have a nice, historic town centre and some beautiful beaches. One was right next to the caravan park where we went for the full moon rising over the low tide to get some photos of the "Staircase to the Moon".
