Eagle Point and Paynesville was our last stop in Southern Victoria.
We set up in a park on the edge of the large lake. It was very much back to nature with many water birds, especially swans.
We also took a quick ferry ride across to nearby Raymond Island which was famous for its koalas, and we saw many of them including a mum and baby!
There was also a quite distinctive feature of the second largest "silt jetty" in the world. This is a natural land formation of two thin long strips of land which went kilomters out into the lake. We had to drive all the way to the end!Read more
