Laura

We arrived in Laura late this afternoon after leaving Cairns around 1pm. It was a pretty trip to Laura over mountains and through valleys. Back to cattle on the roads. Luckily we met the gentle kind, see road sign picture and not the kind that lift your car off the ground. On the way up we encountered a family of wild pigs crossing the road in front of us. The smallest piglets we’re lucky to make it. Stayed at the campground behind the Laura pub and enjoyed a great pub meal. Lots of lovely birds plus a few familiar ones.
Met a family who had just returned from the Cape. Didn't fill us with confidence with their stories of doom and carnage to their car and van. While they were telling us one of the Gus struts on our van broke. Hopefully not an sign of things to comeLeggi altro
