Port Douglas

It has been lovely to return to Port Douglas after several years. It was pretty busy in town and even busier when the cruise ships came in. The ships anchor out at sea and ferry their passengers into port. The caravan parks in town were full so we stayed at the Big 4 park about 7kms out of town. Pretty setting and able to easily drive or even scooter into town. Jamie worked 3 of the days and I managed to enjoy time in town as well as walking along my favourite beach daily. 4 mile beach is really spectacular and has that perfect tropical beach 🏖 🏝 vibe. Port Douglas market was fun to revisit but not the same without Liv, Eloise and Ali, Quinn and Freya.Read more
