    Port Arthur to Sureyors hut.

    Prior to hiking we repacked our bags and made a lunch on the go for exploring Port Arthur Historical Site.
    We checked in for the hike, stowed bags and explored Port Arthur for around 1.5 hours. The day was sunny but windy around 20 degrees and pretty perfect for walking. A boat took us around the inlet for some sight seeing, which included a sea eagle and some dolphins. We were then dropped off at a beach across the inlet. Day 1 walk was a gentle introduction of 4kms and no steep climbs. Dinner was a BBQ , chips and salad.Read more
