Fort Peck,Montana was built by the US corps of engineers in the 1930’s as a home for the thousands of people who came to construct the huge dam and reservoirs on the Missouri River in northern Montana .
Today the population is just over 200 permanent residents and all of the buildings remain as well as the dam and reservoirs. We enjoyed our stay at the Fort Peck Hotel .
