Cranes welcome us to Provence!

A flock of hundreds of Common Cranes welcomed us as we rode into Arles in the Provence region. These are the same species we saw in Lacanau Ocean, at the very beginning of our wander - perhaps we’re migrating in the same pathway?

Now in the Rhône River watershed and the vast Camarque estuary - we cycled along the river, farmlands and skies with colors and textures changing moment by moment.
