The Streets of San Francisco...

So not the most pleasant flight out, but we finally made it to San Francisco...the city on the bay. The temperature is a pleasant 23 degrees, with a bit of a breeze. We picked up our rental car, a Nissan Altima, and hit the road. We did a quick drive downtown, found AT & T Park, past the piers, and headed for Lombard Street. There's a million people around, as it seems to still be summer holidays. This was just a quick tour, as we are back in SFO in a few days. We drove to the Golden Gate Bridge in brilliant sunshine, and predictably as we approached, the fog rolled in. No clear shots today, but we'll try again in a few days. We are now heading East to find our digs before hitting Yosemite tomorrow for hiking...Read more
