• Cruising for glaciers

    Leaving Juneau, we cruised leisurely toward Skagway, and headed toward the Tracy Arm of the Stephens Passage to hunt or more glaciers. As we neared Tracy Arm, we could see many ice and bit bergs in the water... The Captain decided that it was not safe to enter the Tracy Arm, so we diverted to the Endicott Arm instead. As we passed some of the ice floats, we saw sea otters and Stellar seals basking on the ice, taking in the drizzle we all we experiencing...

    The glaciers were lovely, luminous blue, and could be seen calving from time to time...
