A date with Frida Kahlo

We departed Point Lonsdale around 10am this morning. After a short lunch stop in Daylesford, where we had to dodge the rain, we continued our journey to Bendigo.
The highlight of our afternoon was visiting the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery. The exhibition featured a fascinating collection of her personal items, including makeup and clothing. Although there were only two of her paintings on display, it was still a captivating experience. I particularly enjoyed learning about her nickname for the USA - "Gringolandia."
