Rio-Ilha Grande, our last stop

The countdown has started, it’s only 3 days left before our return to the now snowy, soon rainy and soggy Amsterdam. 🥹 Apparently I somehow have the tendency to spend the last nights of my travels on an island for true relaxation (and usually some parties 🥸), so we decided to continue this tradition. We stayed in a jungle lodge with it’s own little beach 30 min walk through the jungle and some parts in the sea or via a shuttle boat. We were fairly lucky with the weather, it was just perfect for some beach time. The night ended up being as long that we walked home together with the sun rise despite being a Tuesday - days of the week don’t matter on an island, gotta love that. 😇😀Read more
