• Day 8: Gelato making

    This was a challenge everyone enjoyed. After a very late night (it was after midnight before we all made it back after the cooking challenge) we had an early morning departure, but our destination made it worth it: The Gelato University- a whole facility devoted to teaching people how to make gelato.

    First we learned about some of the science behind making gelato and then, working as teams, we had to try our hand at making two flavors. Ours turned out very well, and it was a lot of fun tasting everyone else's efforts as well.
