More Exploring Bologna

After gelato, we headed back to Bologna for a little more wandering around and lunch.

Bologna used to be threaded with canals. Most of them have been covered over, but there are still a few you can find. One view is only possible through a window that is inserted in a wall. When you are on the street, you have no idea there is a canal under it, but look through the window and you have an enchanting view of the water coming your way.

You can even find a spot with a view of that window from the other side.
