Shortly after we left Chicago we entered Indiana and transitioned to Eastern Time so we gained another hour.

Along with the free meals, Amtrak includes one alcoholic beverage with dinner for each sleeper car passenger. Since this train left too late to serve any meals, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we could go down to the dining car and get a free drink before bed.

The dining car on this train only has one level, so instead of the kitchen being below and the dining tables above, the dining tables and the kitchen are all in the same area. This means the kitchen can't quite accommodate the variety that we got on previous trains. I'm only on board for breakfast, so it won't affect me that much.もっと詳しく
